The Family Service Counselor at SCI is responsible for serving client families by making at-need cemetery arrangements and selling pre-need arrangements while generating revenue for the cemetery. The role focuses on lead generation, building trust-based relationships with families, and teamwork with funeral directors and cemetery staff to provide seamless service. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus 1-2 years of college or equivalent experience, customer service or sales experience preferred, a valid driver’s license, and possibly an insurance license depending on state law. Compensation is targeted at $55,000 to $70,000, with a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits. The job is located in Miami, Florida, and requires in-person work with evenings, weekends, and frequent driving.
