Abilities Network is hiring a full-time Family Support Specialist to support its Healthy Families program by working directly with new parents through in-home and virtual, family-centered, strength-based services. The role includes program enrollment and trauma assessments, parent-child relationship strengthening, referrals to community resources, age-appropriate parent-child interaction, goal setting, and participation in special events. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in Family and Children’s Services or a related field, or three years of home visitation or family-service experience; experience with family-centered and strength-based services and serving culturally diverse communities is required, along with transportation.
