The Enterprise Data Architect (Software Dev Engineer 5) is a principal-level technical role responsible for setting technical direction for records data modeling and infrastructure, managing petabyte-scale genealogical data, and leading large-scale legacy-to-modern platform migrations with AI/ML integration. The role combines individual-contributor software development with technical leadership across engineering teams, including architecture, standards, mentoring, training, peer reviews, estimation, and DevSecOps. It requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, eight years of progressive professional experience, three years of specialized platform experience, and prior leadership of a team of four or more through multiple product releases.
