Description

The Farm Assistant I will support the Head Breeding Technician, Farm Coordinator, and Plant Breeders with various greenhouse and field tasks. Responsibilities include transplanting seedlings, maintaining plant health through weeding, fertilization, and irrigation, sowing research trials, assisting with harvesting and post-harvest activities, pruning, and general facility maintenance. The role requires adherence to health and safety standards and regulations.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Required Previous Experiences: 0-3 years’ experience working with plants in the open field and/or greenhouse.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of English and Spanish.
