Description
The Meat Processor processes meat products using knives, manual labor, and equipment while following USDA and Pilgrim’s Company standards, quality and quantity expectations, safety, and food-safety procedures. The role also involves equipment monitoring, work-area cleaning, assisting coworkers, participating in process improvement, collecting blood samples, and other directed duties. It requires the ability to work in cool temperatures, stand and use hands for 8–11 hours, multitask, communicate effectively, coordinate hands and eyes, operate a forklift, and drive a 1-ton fan truck; a high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with food or production experience.
