Description
The Farm Maintenance role performs hands-on repair and upkeep of poultry-farm facilities and equipment, including electrical, motor-control, mechanical, welding, plumbing, ventilation, heating, lighting, environmental-control, and farm-machinery systems. The position responds to work orders, inspects and maintains facilities and equipment, repairs wooden structures and concrete pads, transfers equipment between farms, and reports issues to the maintenance supervisor. It requires at least one year of maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, physical ability to lift and work outdoors in extreme conditions, a valid driver’s license, and availability for rotating nights, weekends, and extended workdays.
