Description
The Product Design FEA Engineer will contribute to predictive engineering for Apple products by conducting solid-mechanics-based finite element simulations, exploring LLM and machine-learning integration in FEA workflows, designing experiments for material and constitutive-model characterization, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors. The role requires strong solid-mechanics knowledge, experience with implicit and explicit FEA, verification and validation, and an M.S. in a relevant engineering discipline plus at least three years of relevant experience.
