Description
Golden West College, through the Coast Community College District, offers student-assistant employment for enrolled students who have federal work-study awards. The program provides temporary, flexible assignments in college departments or district sites, with duties ranging from routine to specialized and varying by assignment. Student Assistants I, II, and III differ by supervision, training, independence, and experience requirements, and assignments are limited to 19.5 hours per week during fall and spring semesters or 28 hours outside those semesters. The role is at-will, non-benefits-eligible, and requires background verification, work-eligibility documentation, and onboarding.
