Description
Smithfield is hiring a Feed Mill Operator to operate and monitor receiving, batching, production-floor, and loadout areas; use mill equipment and tools; maintain production, sampling, inventory, and safety records; regulate ingredient flow; support housekeeping and feed safety; and comply with environmental, ISO 22000, IPS, and EMS procedures. The role pays $17.75 per hour, prefers a high school diploma or GED, requires basic computer and English-reading skills, teamwork, flexibility across mill operations, and availability for approximately 50 hours per week including nights, weekends, and holidays, with physical work in dusty, noisy, wet, humid, and temperature-variable conditions.
