Description
Food Standards Scotland is hiring a home-based Feed Officer in its Feed Delivery Branch to deliver animal feed official controls across Scotland, primarily through risk-based inspections, verification, enforcement, and sampling at registered and approved feed businesses in the Central Belt. The role also involves supporting Local Authority partners, answering feed-related enquiries, maintaining feed control databases and KPI reports, undertaking continuous technical training, and contributing to feed policy, enforcement procedures, and regulatory strategy. Occasional travel to the FSS office in Aberdeen and throughout Scotland is required, and a valid driving licence is required.
