Balance4ward is hiring a Feedyard Operations Intern in Nodaway, Iowa, for a paid 12-week summer program from May through August. The intern will support daily feedyard operations and cattle care, including animal health, low-stress cattle handling, bunk reading, nutrition, feed delivery, feed procurement, cattle movement, marketing, logistics, yard maintenance, and equipment. The role also involves participating in team meetings, problem solving, project ownership, and completing Beef Quality Assurance certification. Housing assistance is provided, and the intern is responsible for up to $200 of living expenses per month plus utilities.
