Description
The Clinical Counselor assesses and provides clinical, psychosocial, and non-medical counseling services to children, parents, and families referred to the Family Advocacy Program for child abuse, neglect, domestic abuse, and other family violence. The role includes crisis intervention, safety planning, therapy, case management for problematic sexual behavior in children and youth, coordination with military and community providers, documentation in Navy and DoD systems, quality assurance, training, and community liaison activities. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, hold a master's or doctorate in a relevant field, maintain a current state clinical license, pass background and E-Verify requirements, and obtain or maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
