Description
The Clinical Counselor provides direct counseling and case management to active-duty military personnel, reservists, retirees, and their families. Responsibilities include individual, couples, family, and group counseling; Family Advocacy Program case management for intimate partner violence and child abuse; Problematic Sexual Behavior in Children and Youth case management; SAIL case management for suicide-related behavior; safety planning, risk assessment, treatment planning, referrals, support groups, offender treatment, and seminars. The role requires a master's or doctorate in a relevant field, a current and valid state clinical license, U.S. citizenship or nationality, a Secret Security Clearance, background investigation, E-Verify, and continuing education.
