Description
The Non-medical Clinical Counselor provides short-term, solution-focused counseling to military and civilian individuals, couples, families, and groups on deployment, grief, separation, relationship, parenting, and other family adjustment issues. The role also serves as the installation Family Advocacy Program clinical subject matter expert, conducting risk and lethality assessments, safety planning, mandated reporting, referrals, and coordinated community response for child abuse, domestic abuse, and problematic sexual behavior in children and youth. The position requires regular on-site access to government facilities, approximately 20% temporary duty or business travel, flexible hours, and a Secret security clearance.
