Description
The Fiber-optic Operator works on construction sites installing and maintaining fiber-optic networks. Responsibilities include setting up work areas, preparing cables, installing fiber-optic cables in ducts and buildings, routing cables, securing them in trays or against walls, resolving stuck cables or air leaks, and reporting progress to the site supervisor. The role requires outdoor physical work, interest in fiber-optic technology, fluent Dutch, independent and team-working ability, and a BE driving license.
