Description
FirstLight is hiring a Fiber Construction Engineer to manage the initial design, permitting, project budgets, materials, construction, and field operations for fiber-optic network projects. The role involves preliminary OSP and ISP design, site walks, pole and conduit data collection, contractor management, procurement, documentation, safety audits, troubleshooting, and coordination with design, operations, and repair teams. It is a work-from-home position with some fieldwork and travel, including overnight stays, and requires at least two years of industry experience or five years of relevant telecommunications experience.
