Description
Microsoft is hiring a Fiber Delivery Engineer for its Cloud Interconnection + Acquisitions team to support the delivery of Metro Dark Fiber, Long-Haul Fiber, subsea, and Lit Wave circuits. The role provides technical expertise and drawings, manages external supplier projects and construction schedules, reviews fiber characterization results, produces as-build documentation, manages risks and remediation, and conducts quality assurance inspections. It requires a bachelor's degree and at least two years of relevant engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development experience, or equivalent experience, plus at least one year managing cross-functional projects. The position offers flexible work arrangements and a typical U.S. base pay range of USD $102,100 to $202,200 per year.
