Description
The Laser Cutting Machine Operator produces parts and tools from metal or other materials using fiber laser and CNC equipment. The role involves reading blueprints, adjusting machine speed, material feed, and cutting paths, setting up and maintaining equipment, monitoring production capacity, and inspecting finished products for defects. A high school diploma or equivalent, communication skills, attention to detail, blueprint analysis, manufacturing equipment knowledge, and aptitude for math, problem-solving, and computer skills are required; at least three years of fiber laser cutting experience is preferred.
