Description
Brightspeed is hiring a Fiber Service Technician-Mobile to install and maintain fiber-based high-speed internet for consumer customers. The role requires frequent in-state and out-of-state travel, varying shifts including mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays, and work in utility access holes, vaults, attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders. Responsibilities include fiber installation, outside-plant maintenance and repair, cable burial, customer-facing referrals, and supporting sales and marketing activities. A high school diploma or equivalent experience, service tech boot camp training, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in varied weather and confined spaces are required.
