Description
The Fiber Splicer will work hands-on in the field supporting new builds, maintenance, restoration, and customer turn-ups across aerial and underground fiber networks. Responsibilities include fusion and mechanical splicing, cable installation and testing, troubleshooting, splice-plan interpretation, OTDR and power-meter testing, splice enclosure and distribution-panel installation, documentation, emergency repairs, and collaboration with construction and network teams. The role requires fiber construction experience, testing equipment proficiency, outdoor and physical-work capability, and a valid driver’s license; 1–3 years of experience is preferred.
