Description
IdeaTek is hiring a Fiber Technician to perform independent residential fiber-to-the-home installations, VoIP service repairs, connectivity troubleshooting, and service-drop installations throughout South Central Kansas. The role requires field work, bucket-truck operation, outdoor and aerial work, and an on-call rotation including nights, weekends, holidays, and regular Saturdays and Sundays. Candidates need at least two years of relevant field-based technical experience, a valid unrestricted driver's license, physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds, and the ability to climb ladders up to 32 feet. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or relocation, and salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.
