Description
IdeaTek is hiring a Fiber Technician to perform independent residential fiber-to-the-home installations, repair internet and VoIP services, diagnose connectivity issues, and install service drops throughout South Central Kansas. The role includes aerial and underground fiber work, bucket-truck operation, customer service, and an on-call rotation covering nights, weekends, holidays, and regular Saturdays and Sundays. Candidates need at least two years of relevant field-based technical experience, a valid unrestricted driver's license, outdoor and physical-work capability, and the ability to work in underground and aerial environments. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or relocation.
