Description
Clearwave Fiber is hiring a Fiber/Installation Repair Technician to install, maintain, test, and repair underground, direct-bury, and aerial fiber-optic cables and telecommunications services. The role includes splicing and terminating fiber, installing customer-premises wiring and equipment, testing signal strength, maintaining vaults and taps, traveling to sites, and communicating with customers and technical staff. Candidates need a high school diploma or general education diploma, a valid driver’s license, safe-driving history, and the ability to work in confined spaces and on ladders; telecommunications experience and additional construction, IPTV, ADSL, computer, and electricity knowledge are preferred.
