Description
The F-16 Aircraft Maintenance Specialist (Crew Chief) is responsible for daily flight and maintenance operations, including launch and recovery, preflight and flight inspections, ground handling, minor and major maintenance, engine runs, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of electro-mechanical systems. The role also provides technical guidance and on-the-job training to customer technicians, supports maintenance-area setup and supply handling, and requires flexibility in extreme environmental conditions within a secure compound. Candidates must have a high school education or equivalent, USAF skill level 5 or 7 or equivalent experience, and at least four years of aircraft maintenance experience.
