Description
GlobalFoundries is hiring a Field Application Engineer to engage with semiconductor customers, assess their technical needs, evaluate competitive solutions, and advocate for GlobalFoundries technology. The role partners with account managers, product marketing, and internal technical experts to create application-specific presentations and design-winning proposals, resolve adoption barriers, and convert opportunities into product tapeouts. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field, at least a 3.0 GPA, English fluency, and up to 20% travel; prior internship or co-op experience and semiconductor-related coursework are preferred. The expected salary range is $55,400 to $90,000.
