Description
Cepheid is hiring a Field Application Engineer to provide post-sale support for GeneXpert molecular diagnostic systems in clinical laboratories across South Iberia. The role covers pre-installation assessments, instrument installation, software and connectivity configuration, training, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, deinstallations, relocations, and spare-parts management. It reports to the Customer Care Manager in Spain, requires remote work with approximately 80% field travel, and requires a relevant engineering or biology degree, 2–3 years of healthcare, biomedical, medical-device, or laboratory-customer experience, fluency in the local language, and strong English. A valid driver’s license, ability to travel, and the ability to lift up to 27 kg are also required.
