LMI Technologies is hiring a Field Application Engineer to support sales and technical customer activities for 3D machine vision sensors and networking products. The role involves application testing, troubleshooting, hardware setup, software deployment, customer demonstrations, solution recommendations, training, documentation, and frequent travel to customer sites. Candidates need a relevant engineering or computer science degree, 2–3 years of high-technology or factory automation project experience, customer service experience, and proficiency with tools such as Visual Studio, C#, C#, VB.NET, LabVIEW, PLC programming, SolidWorks, wiring, and soldering.
