NXP is hiring an Automotive Customer Application Support Engineer to support automotive customers in deploying silicon technology and developing software and hardware solutions. The role includes embedded software development, silicon design and validation, software bring-up and porting, issue resolution, project management, customer and colleague training, and feedback to product development. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, at least five years of microcontroller-based embedded systems development or applications support, C and C++ experience, and knowledge of SoC hardware interfaces. The position requires travel of up to 25%, mostly within California and Michigan, and offers a base salary of $121,400 to $166,900 annually in California, plus health, dental, vision, retirement, and paid leave benefits.
