Description

Ambiq is hiring a Field Applications Engineer to support global customers, particularly in the assigned region, through pre-sales design-in activities, product development, debugging, and full production support. The role focuses on low-power semiconductor solutions, embedded hardware and software, system integration, customer design reviews, and enabling sales and engineering teams. It requires substantial semiconductor FAE experience, embedded MCU expertise, electrical and software fundamentals, and up to 50% travel to Kansas City.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; candidates without a degree must have at least 10 years of directly related professional experience.
Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of Field Applications Engineering experience in the semiconductor industry
Extensive customer visiting, presenting, and collaboration experience
Embedded 32-bit MCU software and hardware experience
Embedded MCU hardware and software debugging experience
Preferred Qualifications: Cortex-M ARM microcontroller experience
Zephyr RTOS and BLE application experience
