Description
The Field Application Engineer will advise architects, engineers, and construction firms during the design and specification phases, helping embed PowerSecure distributed energy solutions into basis of design documents, specifications, drawings, and standards. The role includes technical consultation, system sizing and performance modeling, code compliance, value engineering, specification influence, sales support, and coordination with engineering and product teams. It requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering, 10 years of relevant AEC or distributed energy experience, and extensive travel; the position is remote with flexible hours.
