Nearfield Instruments is hiring a Field Applications Engineer in Hsinchu, Taiwan to support semiconductor customers with atomic force microscopy metrology solutions. The role involves identifying customer needs, demonstrating AFM capabilities on customer wafers, analyzing measurement data, creating measurement recipes, training customer engineers and operators, investigating measurement and data-processing issues, and contributing to new measurement modes and metrology solutions. Candidates should have manufacturing metrology experience, customer collaboration experience, semiconductor manufacturing knowledge, a relevant PhD or MSc, coding experience in MATLAB, Python, or similar languages, and an interest in atomic force microscopy.
