Description
Kela is hiring a field engineer to deploy and integrate defense-command-and-control systems at customer sites. The role covers site readiness, hardware installation, network and edge compute provisioning, staging, configuration, pre-delivery testing, integration with customer and third-party systems, troubleshooting, operator training, documentation, remote support, and handover. Most work is performed from the company offices, with travel to customer sites for surveys, deployments, and hands-on work. The position requires at least three years of field deployment, integration, field engineering, or similar hands-on experience in mission-critical environments, along with Linux, Kubernetes, networking, hardware, Bash, Python, database, debugging, GitHub, and strong communication skills.
