HDR is hiring a Field Director, Archaeology in its Metairie, Louisiana office to support cultural resource management work across the Louisiana/Mississippi area and the broader South Central region. The role manages archaeological field investigations, supervises field crews, documents sites, coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, and prepares technical reports supporting NRHP and NEPA compliance. It requires a bachelor's degree in archaeology, anthropology, architectural history, or a related field; experience with Microsoft Office, field study design, cultural resource management regulations, GIS utilities, strong writing and communication, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel approximately 80% and work varied schedules and weather conditions.
