Description
ASM is hiring a Regional EHS Manager for Japan to lead health and safety programs across its service region, ensure compliance with local regulations, SEMI standards, and customer procedures, analyze safety data, lead incident investigations and emergency response, develop safety training, coordinate with customer EHS counterparts, and provide technical guidance to a local team of EHS Engineers. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering or science field, at least seven years of progressive health and safety experience in high-tech industries, knowledge of ISO 45001 and Japanese regulatory frameworks, semiconductor-fab or high-containment experience, and strong English and Japanese communication skills. The position involves travel of up to 50% within Japan.
