Harder Mechanical Contractors is hiring an entry-level Field Engineer for its Portland, Oregon-area fabrication shops, supporting Advanced Technology projects. The role is an entry point to project management and involves planning, scheduling, executing assigned project scopes, coordinating field labor, reviewing construction drawings, resolving engineering issues, monitoring construction, preparing work packages and estimates, tracking progress, and maintaining project records. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in construction management, business management, mechanical, industrial, or civil engineering (or equivalent education/experience), Microsoft Office and Bluebeam proficiency, communication and organizational skills, mechanical aptitude, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel; prior construction or engineering internship experience is preferred.
