Description
OpenAI Robotics is hiring a Field Engineer to maintain a fleet of robotic workcells used for real-world data acquisition. The role owns the day-to-day technical health of the workcells, troubleshoots hardware, electronics, controls, software, logs, and configuration issues, supports operators and technicians, builds monitoring and diagnostic tools, creates documentation and playbooks, manages incident tickets, and analyzes fleet reliability trends. The position is based in San Francisco, California, five days per week, with relocation assistance for new employees.
