Description
The Field Engineer researchs equipment and infrastructure problems, develops solutions, maintains and tests installed equipment, installs new technologies, and prepares reports for senior and concerned employees. The role requires diagnosing and repairing equipment, interpreting technical descriptions, communicating with customers and site personnel, managing technical work with little supervision, and working outdoors in adverse conditions. It also involves standing, kneeling, lifting up to 60 pounds, pulling, squatting, walking, and working eight to ten hours per day.
