Description

The Field Engineer for outage services supports utility outage projects across the western region, spending over 75% of the year traveling. They collaborate with engineering teams, manage project execution, oversee safety and quality, monitor subcontractors, and report to corporate and customers. Key responsibilities include project plan development, communication with stakeholders, reviewing engineering drawings, identifying challenges, and proposing solutions.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Entry-level to 2 years of experience.
Experience with project management, particularly focusing on the full project life cycle.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse organizational levels, including project supervision, hourly employees, and executive management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products like Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training (or equivalent) before starting or within 30 days of joining.
NCCCO Rigger Level II certification is preferred. Candidates with or without Level I certification may be eligible, with the expectation to achieve Level II within 180 days of employment.
