Description
The Weitz Company is hiring a full-time, entry-level Field Engineer for its Industrial team, with an initial assignment in Beaumont, Texas. The role supports the Superintendent by participating in project planning, reviewing equipment, coordinating subcontractor meetings, maintaining job-site tools and materials, tracking costs and RFIs, updating schedules, documenting delays, monitoring field performance, and communicating with owners and architects. Candidates should have 1–2 years of experience in a project engineering, construction-related, or related internship role, along with construction-document interpretation, construction-methods knowledge, communication, organization, and basic Microsoft Office skills. The position requires travel based on project needs and does not offer visa sponsorship.
