Lockheed Martin is hiring a Senior Field Engineer (Simulator Technician) at Kirtland Air Force Base to perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and sustainment of Combat Rescue Helicopter training systems, including Weapons Systems Trainers and Avionics Desktop Trainers. The role leads fault isolation and root cause analysis, supports software and hardware updates, documents maintenance actions, analyzes reliability data, mentors junior engineers, and coordinates with engineering, logistics, cybersecurity, and program management teams. Candidates need 5–8 years of relevant experience, an active CompTIA Security+ certification, strong troubleshooting and IT systems skills, and familiarity with technical documentation and test equipment.
