Description
The Field Environmental Manager will lead environmental compliance and performance at utility-scale solar construction sites. The role oversees SWPPP, SPCC, dust control, wildlife protection, NPDES permits, site inspections, environmental training, records, permitting agencies, consultants, vegetation management, wildlife mitigation, and compliance reporting. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant environmental field, at least three years of environmental compliance experience in construction, energy, or infrastructure, knowledge of applicable regulations and permits, proficiency with SWPPP/NPDES and BMPs, and the ability to travel to remote project sites. The position is primarily field-based, with exposure to varying weather, rough terrain, and possible overnight stays.
