Description
The Developing Level Geophysicist conducts geophysical surveys and subsurface investigations for geologic, groundwater, environmental, engineering, and materials-testing projects. The role includes defining survey objectives, designing approaches, collecting and analyzing field data, interpreting results, and supporting infrastructure planning, environmental assessment, and earth-resource evaluation. The position also requires safety compliance, quality maintenance, site visits, and limited client contact, with a bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geophysics or eight years of utility locating experience as alternatives, plus a valid driver’s license.
