Description
The Field Inspector performs on-site NDE/NDT inspections on turbine gas and steam turbine components to assess structural integrity and ensure safe operation. Responsibilities include visual and borescope inspections, dye penetrant testing, documenting findings, communicating results to engineering teams, and adhering to safety procedures. The role requires significant travel, both domestically and internationally, and involves working in various environments such as tight spaces, heights, and potentially noisy areas with chemical exposure.
