ORBCOMM is hiring a Field Installation Technician to deploy, install, train, and support telematics and hardware solutions for fleet and other customers. The role performs field installations, supports product rollouts, provides on-site and remote troubleshooting, delivers training to customers and installers, maintains installation documentation, and collaborates with engineering, product, customer success, and other teams. It can be held remotely in Texas, Arkansas, or Oklahoma and averages 80% travel. The position requires 3–5+ years of relevant field installation or telematics experience, hardware troubleshooting ability, customer-facing communication skills, and physical work in vehicles and confined spaces; the anticipated starting salary is $65,000–$70,000.
