Description
The Field Operations Section (FOS) under the Directorate of the Capacity Development and Implementation Bureau (CDI) is responsible for managing Technical Assistance (TA) and Technical Cooperation (TC) projects. This includes reviewing state-of-the-art situations regarding legal and operational aspects, providing consultancy to address unresolved issues, assisting in updating capacity building plans, advising on legislative changes for clear separation of functions between regulators and service providers, offering guidance on national rule-making processes, and supporting training initiatives. The FOS also coordinates with the Project Coordinator (ICAO PC) to monitor progress, prepare reports, and participate in project reviews.
