Description

The Field Operations Section (FOS) under the Directorate of the Capacity Development and Implementation Bureau (CDI) is responsible for managing Technical Assistance (TA) and Technical Cooperation (TC) projects. This includes drafting agreements, identifying priority areas, developing project objectives, and ensuring timely completion with defined budgets. The section also involves recruiting international experts for capacity development and implementing projects in various aspects of Civil Aviation.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 10 years’ experience in performing inspections of operational safety in air traffic control units of great density of air traffic flow.
Experience in establishing methodology to perform the investigation of an ATS incident and on elaborating the safety recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of the ICAO Integrated Safety Management program including familiarity with all aspect related to the implementation and functions of the State Safety Program (SSP) and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
Certificate in ICAO’s Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme, Continuous Monitoring Approach (USOAP CMA) Computer Based Training (CBT) course before taking up the assignment.
A working knowledge of French or another official language of the Organization (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish).
