Lam is hiring a Field Process Engineer to support customers with equipment installations, training, startup, troubleshooting, and design improvements. The role involves understanding customer technology roadmaps, coordinating product demonstrations, performing capacity-add system startups, conducting DOE evaluations and experiments, analyzing process data, developing new processes, maintaining customer relations, and ensuring safe work-site conditions. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant science or engineering field, strong communication and analytical skills, the ability to work in a fab environment and wear personal protective equipment, and willingness to support short-term overseas assignments. The role may follow an on-site flex or virtual flex work model.
