Description

Lam is hiring a Field Process Engineer to provide process support, installation, troubleshooting, and productivity improvements for customer sites. The role includes field evaluations, experimental design, data analysis, root-cause analysis, process development, customer collaboration, technical leadership, and continuous improvement. Candidates need a PhD in a relevant field, or a master’s degree with at least three years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least six years of experience, along with data-analysis, communication, cleanroom, and safety skills. The position may follow an on-site flex or virtual flex work model.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: PhD in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or a related field; or a Master of Science with at least three years of relevant work experience; or a Bachelor of Science with at least six years of work experience.
Required Previous Experiences: At least three years of relevant work experience for a Master of Science candidate.
At least six years of work experience for a Bachelor of Science candidate.
Preferred Qualifications: In-depth understanding of Statistical Process Control and/or Design of Experiments.
Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams, customers, and partners.
Collaborative mindset in a matrixed environment.
