Colonial Surety Company is hiring a full-time remote Field Representative for its Contract Surety business. The role focuses on field sales within an assigned territory, including prospecting from provided leads, scheduling and conducting in-person appointments, presenting surety programs, evaluating contractor financial information and bonding needs, and closing new business. Candidates must live in their territory and travel regularly using a personal vehicle, with periodic reporting to the Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey headquarters for training and meetings. The company seeks self-motivated, entrepreneurial candidates with at least 5 years of field sales experience, strong consultative selling, communication, and closing skills; construction industry familiarity and basic accounting knowledge are a plus. Compensation includes a base salary, uncapped incentives, and benefits such as 401(k), health, dental, vision, life insurance, and paid time off.
