Description
Lam is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, relocation, and start-up services for complex electro-mechanical semiconductor capital equipment, primarily thin-film deposition systems such as CVD, ALD, and PECVD. The role also includes mentoring Engineer Level 1 and 2 personnel, representing the company to customers, managing limited-scope projects, and traveling frequently. Candidates need a BS degree in electronics, engineering, or a related field with at least five years of experience, or an associate degree with at least six years of relevant experience, along with semiconductor equipment experience, clean-room work, schematic interpretation, and Microsoft Office experience. The role may be performed under an On-site Flex or Virtual Flex hybrid model.
